MU:note is now on Android
2026-11-01
Starting today, you can get MU:note on Google Play.
- Friends on iPhone and Android stay connected. See each other's Mucho in the practice room and send reactions.
- Switching phones? Log in with the same account (Kakao, Apple or Google) and your records come back.
- It counts only the time you actually played, just like on iPhone.

Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are changing
2026-10-15
Hello from MU:note. MU:note is coming to Android soon, so we have updated our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service ahead of the launch.
What changes. You can also sign up with a Google account; on Android, friend notifications are delivered through Google's notification service; and on Android, note payments and refunds go through Google Play. We also added store usage (items viewed or bought, by product number, and top-ups) to usage analytics.
From when. The new versions apply from 2026-10-22. Until then, the current ones stay in effect.

The store is open
2026-10-04
Hi, this is MU:note.
MU:note 2.0 is out. The store is open — you can dress your character and decorate your practice room. Please update from the App Store.
What's new. In the store at the top left of the Home screen, you can pick outfits, hairstyles and accessories for your character, backgrounds and props for your practice room, and calendar themes. What your character wears shows up in your friends' practice rooms too. Tap a friend to visit the practice room they decorated. Change the calendar theme and the calendar and summary card in the Records tab take on that color.
To our first members. MU:note has been out for a month now. We made it this far because you trusted your everyday practice to an app that was still missing a lot. Thank you, truly.
As a thank-you, everyone who signed up by October 3 (Korea time) gets a first-member outfit: a Tie-dye Tank with the :ℕ logo. We've put it in the Character tab of the store — try it on.
Thank you, too, to everyone who answered the survey. We'll share soon, separately, what changes because of what you told us.
We're running an event on Instagram. Join the event at @munote.official by October 7 and we'll give you an Ice Cream for your character to carry around. We'll add it automatically for all participants at once on October 8 at 0:00 (Korea time). We'd love for you to take part.
If anything feels off or you wish for something, tell us anytime.
If you wrote to us through Contact us, we reply by email. Please be sure to check your inbox (including spam).
Thank you.
Our Terms of Service are changing
2026-10-01
Hello from MU:note. We have updated our Terms of Service for the Note Store, which opens soon.
What changes. New sections cover the notes and items used in the app, that payment and refunds go through Apple, that remaining notes and items are deleted together with your account if you delete it, and what we ask of you in the Friends feature.
From when. The new terms apply from the day the Note Store opens. Until then, the current terms stay in effect.
You can keep viewing your practice records, calendar and totals just as before.

Tell us how you use MU:note
2026-09-24
MU:note has been out for three weeks now. Thank you for keeping it quietly beside your practice.
Before we decide what to build next, we want to hear from the people who use MU:note today — which features you reach for, what got in your way, what you wish were there.
It takes two minutes. Twelve questions, and you don't have to leave your name or contact.
Please note: the survey is in Korean only. We're sorry — we couldn't prepare it in other languages this time. If you'd rather write to us directly, Instagram DM @munote.official or Settings → Contact us works just as well, in any language.
We read every answer, and we'll post here what changed because of it.
Open until 30 September 2026.
Pick a Muni that plays your instrument
2026-09-15
Until now the practice room had only four Munis. If you play cello, yours held a violin; if you play bassoon, yours held a flute. Thank you to everyone who told us.
From this update you can choose your Muni.
How to choose. After the update, a card appears once on the home screen. The same picker opens from Main instrument in Settings. If your instrument isn't listed, pick the closest Muni.
Your instrument can be set only once. A Muni can't be changed after you pick it — neither the instrument family nor the drawing. We ask you to confirm before it's set. If you ever need a change, tell us through Settings → Contact us. We'll help.
Instrument and Muni are two different things. Your instrument sets how sound is judged: it is one of piano, strings, winds, voice, or guitar, and MU:note listens to your practice by that family. Your Muni is how you appear in the practice room. Switching to the cello Muni doesn't change how your practice is heard.
